The World Up Close

I am in love with macro photography. Don’t get me wrong, I love bird photography, but macro makes you slow down and see things you’d never see before. It allows you take a deep breath and experience some amazing creatures and details up close. I’ve been trying to get up a few days a week early in the morning before things the world starts to get busy, including the insect world, and take a walk around my yard and see what I can find. Here are a few of the things I’ve seen these last two weeks. These are definitely my favorites, as I’ve taken plenty of shots, and have only kept a few keepers.

There is also a macro shot from Costa Rica of an Olive Snouted Tree Frog. It’s the only one that wasn’t from my backyard.

Hope you are doing well. And enjoy!

Hover over each picture and it gives you a little blurb about each picture.

Thank you again for all your support. And as always, prints are available, so just let me know.
